On Sunday my geese were swimming in the pond when they all got spooked and got out really fast. One of my geese hit her leg hard on a rock getting out and she started limping. I caught her and inspected and she had like a scrape right above her joint of her leg. There were no signs of a broken bone. She will bear weight on it but she's still limping a 4 days later. I attached a video. What can I do to help her? Is her leg just sprained
Do you see any bruising, redness, or swelling? The bone could be broken, or she might have just bruised it. If broken, it would need an xray, and a splint or cast by a vet. If you cannot take her in, I would try to limit her activity by keeping her in a pen or large dog crate near the others, but with her own food and water. It can take several weeks for sprains or broken legs to heal. Please post on the geese forum as well.
Judging by the video, it does not appear that her leg is broken. I would guess it is just a sprain/strain that will take time to heal. If she becomes less mobile, then I would become more concerned.
