GopherBoys smalles tallest coop~Update 6/24/2009~

This is our free wood we got from Portland last night off craigslist. It's a good thing since we where almost out of materials......GopherBoy said there will be a wirlwind of activities here this weekend.....in the awful pouring rain.

well since you need to be in the right mind set, and motivated to work GopherBoy took sometime this moring (waiting for breakfast and for the rain to stop POURING) to work on our farm sign

This is one of my favorite tools of all time

you just stick it in your skill saw measure over to the blade, and tighten down the setscrew on the saw

and it rips the boards perfectly

1x4’s where temporarily screwed onto the trusses at the desired spacing

Then I notched out for the outriggers

then install the outriggers

The outriggers where calculated to have a 10 ½ inch overhand so when you install the barge rafter you will have a 12 inch overhang

second truss back you screw in the outrigger from the backside of the truss

Install your barge rafter to the outriggers, the 1x4 assist in keeping this in place

hey: columbiacritter .....yeah the soggy PNW is always a challenge to work outside....
