Well, they're gorgeous to me! I wonder if regular people (ie. those who don't keep chickens!) would think a chicken could be gorgeous?

Anyhow, my contenders for my best-looking pullets from this year (I'm southern hemisphere, so these girls were born in my spring and it's autumn now):

My favourite is the second pullet, her name is Hamadryad. Other than the Welsummer, they are what are called Araucanas here in Argentina, but are more like a clean-face Easter Egger in North America. Hope you like them!

Yep, I explained beneath the pictures, but I guess it's a bit out of sight at the end! One Welsummer, and the others are a bit confusing. They are called Araucanas here (I'm in Argentina), or sometimes Mapuche Araucanas, though I know they bear little resemblance to Araucanas of North America. Clean-faced Easter Eggers isn't quite accurate either, since they only lay blue or green eggs, never pink or brown as Easter Eggers might. Maybe clean-faced Ameraucanas? There's really no comparable breed that I know of.

Great pictures! Thanks for sharing. Very pretty!

I love that second pullet too! She is stunning!

That third picture really is nice, you might want to try submitting that for BYCs calendar contest. Great photography!
