Hello Folks.
We have six little African goslings and 2 toulouse. The are two weeks old tomorrow. This morning one of the little things started demonstrating his superb dominance by attacking the others and biting the back of their necks. They really wrangled! One was biting the others wing and the other was biting the ones neck, really going at it.
Is this natural pecking order stuff? The aggressive one didn't limit this to one of the other goslings, but whoever was nearest. They are in a big pen and have lots of room, plenty of feed and water.
Probably normal stuff, but I thought I'd run it past the experts!
