Gosling dies suddenly

Hello all - I had 8 ducklings (Pekin, Swedish and Golden 300) and 1 (African goose) gosling in the brooder together. They were all 1.5 weeks old.
Everyone looked happy and healthy this morning and at noon when I check on them. I just went to check them again and the gosling is dead.
I have no idea what could have happened to it.
Any ideas?

I’m sorry for your loss... And I don’t know what happened. Are the others fine?

Did you give them cold water?
They can be susceptible to cold water shock, especially when it's hot out.

No - no cold water. We had her for a week and she looked completely healthy, until she wasn’t.
