UPDATE:

Young goose seems to be doing OK. I've started locking her into a dog crate by my bed at night with food and water to make sure she eats. There are days I don't think she sees much at all. I had my older goose and her on a walk in the front yard yesterday and the older goose was finding all types of weeds and leaves to eat, and young goose just nibbled on a few un-satisfying stems. I don't think she saw the others neat things. So I gave her some nice lettuce when I put her in for the night. I take each day as a gift, I can't imagine she will live as long as a goose usually does, but I plan to make sure she enjoys her life as it is.
