Gosling has curled toes and I need advice

Well everybody, I am very grieved to report that my little baby rockstar(that was her name) got attacked by a stray dog while we were getting them used to the outdoors, and she passed away. I don't think I have ever cried so hard in my life. I love that precious little gosling so much! Her brother is safe, but he seems to be taking it kind of hard, as am I. That is his only hatch mate. We have really been comforting each other. I went to tractor supply and they happened to have a couple about two week old white Chinese goslings, so we got them so he doesn't have to be alone. This really hurts so much. I love and worship Christ and I don't think it says anything about whether animals can go to Heaven or not, but I sure hope they do. She has such a beautiful personality and is so sweet! Every time I go to mix up food and run with the other geese it brings back the joyful times taking are of her, talking and singing with her and running laps with her. I didn't know you could love an animal that much! Geese have so much personality. I love you all and thank you for helping me with her little feet. They were looking so good. I hope she will be waiting for us in Heaven.
Gosh I am so sorry to hear about your little ducking. She was definitely loved by you and it’s refreshing to see how you cared for her and her brother. Time will lessen the pain. It’s nice that you got the brother some company so quickly. Hopefully they will bond and he will adapt easier.

Thank you for sharing your story and sorry for your loss. I know how attached one can get to these beautiful souls.
Just wanted to share my story I hatched 2 gorgeous incubated little Sebastopol babies. It was very obvious from the start one was really struggling. Initially her head was very floppy and it took a day and night for it to correct and her feet were very curled.
After a week we had an emergency with her where she swallowed something incorrectly and was foaming at the mouth so took her to the vet. By the time we got there and got her seen she seemed to have come good.
And the vet was more concerned with her legs/feet so taped them and she could not move and kept falling on her face so we removed and kept massaging and trying to correct as we had been doing the past week (we had a previous bad experiences with leg taping with day very chickens who died during the night when not supervised).
Thinking we would focus on correction in a few weeks when the little one had more strength to carry herself.
The legs have become a lot better, fast forward 3 weeks and the little one was 1/4 the size of the other but is still going.
We took her to the specialist the other day and he did an ultrasound of her heart. Turns out she has a congenital heart disease and hence the stunted growth and issues with her feet etc.
She is on medication and I hope this helps. Just wanted to share just incase someone comes upon a similar situation and is looking for answers.
