The egg was found peeping yesterday in an abandoned nest along with a limp dead baby. We had it in an incubator ever since. Didn't know how long it had been peeping . Do I been to keep the exposed membrane wet?

Here you go:I would like to post a picture of my egg. Would someone please tell me how to do this? I went to edit my post and when I hit image at the bottom, it did nothing. Is one of the icons at the top useful for this? Thanks.
I dip a q-tip in clean water and wipe the membrane every now and then too keep it soft. Has the little one made any progress yet?
