My two week old gosling is starting to honk! Mostly when she's sleeping, like snoring but she also makes these squeaker toy sounds. Is that normal? I wouldn't expect her to honk until she was at least a month.

I also need to replace her fluffy duck toy that she loves. Right now she has a microfiber swifter pad and a sherpa sock, both of which she's tearing into, I'm a little worried she might eat some of it. Is that okay?

Their voices go through some rapid changes and they won’t sound the same from day to day sometimes. If she isn’t eating pieces of it it’s fine, but once you see signs of her tearing bits off and swallowing it’s probably best to remove them.

So these are normal sounds? (If you can hear over the other gosling peeping)

Yeah the low toned one was a snore, the squeal is what I call snuggle sounds, they do that when they’re cuddling or falling asleep.
The high pitched CHIPE CHIPE CHIPE is crying, they either are hungry, thirsty, too hot, too cold, or want to be held.

I would like to give my 2 week old goslings a snuggle toy but they poop so much it would be covered daily.
