Gosling outside?

My solution! Now we can stay out here a little bit longer!

He might get lonely...
He gets tons of interaction with a whole slew of dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits and more. The only ones he's not crazy about are the cats. He gets a lot of stimulation and whenever he has to be alone he has a mirror that he chats and naps with. Everything I've researched indicates as long as he gets plenty of interaction he'll be ok.

That last pic made my heart full:loveraising goslings is one of the best most loving experiences I've ever had in raising animals. I wish I could perpetually just have baby geese.

I think whatever you are doing is okay as long as you be observant of any sort of shivering or obvious signs of being cold. After all, they have those thick fluffy down coats! At around one month old I began to really take my sweet boy out for swims in the river, walks and grazing up to 3 times a day in early spring where it's still a bit chilly here in the northwest. I always had a towel on hand incase Toque got cold and needed warm transportation back inside to the brooder but never found that I needed it.

I hope you are so enjoying these moments with your baby, I would raise a whole gaggle if I could! Some of my favorite mornings were waking up to find Toque out of the brooder calling at my bedroom door for me. Impossible to get upset at that!
