I have one adult broody goose (she has been sitting on unfertile eggs for 30 days now). I am receiving 4 goslings and 8 ducks in the mail on Wednesday.
For the ducklings, I'm setting up a brooder in our shed with lamp, etc, but I would like to take them out during the day and only use the brooder at night.
I live in central Texas, and it's already in the 90s during the day. Would they be okay in a pen on grass with a shaded section offered? Is there anything wrong with having them outdoors as long as they are warm and have food/water?
