Well they´re not always great friends, serv, especially come breeding season when they want to mate and the other thinks "Not likely, matey!" So, Penny, I do hope the new one is a girlie. I have one family that hatches mainly males, and the other hatches mainly females. Now that´s strange, because it´s supposed to depend on the environment; i.e. feed, minerals, etc that the female is getting in her diet. At least, that´s what I´ve read. It seems to work with my muscovies, though. Most of them are females that hatch.Well that's great news. In that case I don't mind what it is. A few goose eggs a year would be a bonus though.![]()
Same here, no problems. Once the gozzies are about, life becomes calm again. (For them, at least, just not for me!I am sure it will be a happy reunion. They really get along really well, having been raised up as youngsters together.

Well that´s not impossible! I have one female here that I was sure was a male for ages!Yes one of each would be the ideal but I guess there is nothing I can do but wait and see. In any case, Moose could be a well built female!![]()
Oh, what a lovely little gozzie. I like it when my lot come up for eats, then all down to the stream to wash it down.....then back up the hill again to see what they missed the first time around.
