Haven't given her the mirror yet. Been So busy I quickly set up the little brooder this morning before work. We'll be having quality momma and goose time tonight and I'll introduce her to Moose. :D
Yeah I get the girl vibe too. I hope I'm right!

well its not a white sebe because it has a purple beak and feet! It might turn out gray :) we will see ! This is fun

I'm a strong believer in natural immunities, and early exposure (especially for cocci), so I took the goslings outside to the baby animal play pen already. It's already going to be a high of 75 degrees today (Fahrenheit, obviously). There were already some cornish rock chicks and two pekin ducklings in the pen. I left them in there while I was about five feet away digging a hole for a blueberry plant that we got.

But that short little outing was a no-go. While they are quiet and calm inside the brooder, and although they had slightly older (but same-sized) friends in the pen, they chirped the whole time like little lost babies. They did not trust the other birds, and the ducklings and chicks didn't know what to think of these clumsy newcomers!

We'll try again another day! Lol
Could they see you? i´m sure they wanted to be close to you. You could always fix up a little wiremesh fence that´s mobile...and then youcan put them where you want, but nice and close until they feel more confident. You know, like a foot high, 2 yards long piece, and make it into a ring. Just as long as you´re right nearby, they´ll be happier.

Well it obviously isn´t a buff, which leaves whatever the other two breeds were, can´t remember and can´t find the post where you wrote the breeds! And it´s quite a light grey, so I hope that doesn´t mean it could be a boy. but having a dark bill could mean a girl, both of these signs depending on what breed.

Depending on the colour, sebs do have dark bills and feet, too. This photo is sebs, grey and buff. SO SWEET! What a lovely little gozzie. Well done on the hatch.
