Hi everyone,
I have recently bought an Embden gosling about a week ago and put it in with a sebastopol gosling, these goslings have been mixing with older Embdens and toulouse geese. The goslings this morning were bringing up a clear mucus which is strange and has me worried, does anyone know if they could be ill, they seem happy and alert eating and drinking well, it's just I've never come across this before and am worried it could be an infection.

Was it right after they had been drinking? sometimes they just drink too much water and it will come back up. maybe add some un pasteurized ACV to their drinking water, 1-2 tab to 1 gallon of water. if they are other wise acting normal eating drinking and being goslings then I wouldn't think sick. But I'd surely keep a close eye on them things can change fast.

Thanks Miss Lydia this has made me feel alot better as they were in a bathing area just before hand so they might well have swallowed too much water. I have brought them indoors to keep an eye on them, the little one's legs seem warm which I've read is a sign of fever but other than that they look and seem fine.

Good idea to bring them in so you can keep a closer eye on them, Hopefully it's nothing and they will be back outside playing in the water again.
