Goslings with broken toe

I have a week old gosling that just broke its toe recently. Earlier I saw my gosling limping and I check it’s foot. The outside toe was broken. I felt the bone bending the opposite way. I did the cardboard method for its foot. Anyone know if my gosling will recover from this?
