Goslings with underbite and crossed bill

We got 3 goslings from a local farmer and 2 of them have issues with their bills. The first one just has a bit of an underbite but the second has an underbite and a crossed bill. Just wondering what causes this and what we can do to help correct it, if that’s even possible.

It could be genetics, problems during incubation, or from a deficiency. I would make sure you are feeding an appropriate ration formulated for waterfowl. Others may suggest some vitamins supplements.

Here another thread on it, you may just have to wait and see how severe it becomes, and how much assistance they need. You may need to moisten their feed for easier eating.
