Hey everyone, I've owned chickens for almost 7yrs now, I've had 4 isa Browns 2 were girls both called cheep and 2 boys called siren and 1 bantam called ash, I now have, one bantam called speedy, 1 speckled Sussex called speckles, a Chinese silkie called silky (I know creative names) and two cats called Bridget and Kai (but also a stray cat who lives in our garden, currently not named but happy to have suggestions, blue fat cat). My favorite aspect of owning chickens is them running up to me everytime they see me, I also do Tennis, Horse Riding and knitting. I'm currently wanting to become a vet in the near future. I've known about BYC for about a year now but only joined last month due to Silky becoming ill and nothing told me what was happening on google.

Is your silkie alright now? If not, post a pic and what's wrong in our ER forum and folks will help you. I raise and breed them so if it's specific to the breed, I'll try help as well.
