Got 3 more chicks! I have no self control...

So, I got 3 more chicks today. Now, my mom knew, But I didn't tell my dad I was getting more, and I was hoping he wouldn't notice the extra chicks. However, he came home, and went outside. If course, he uses the door in the room with the brooder. :/ I was hoping he wouldnt look at them, but he did. He went to look at the chicks, and made a funny face. Where did you, you, and you come from? He said. He looked at me, and I told him this:
I didn't tell you the news? Do you know that chick that died? She came back to life! As for the other ones, where did they come from? I have never seen them before in my life!
Of course he didnt believe me. He gave me the "cut the crap" look, and I had to tell him the truth. The look on his face was priceless. sadly, this is the end of my chciken math. What a day.

Forgiveness is usually easier to obtain when compared to permission, especially when it comes to chickens.

If you have a pretty good bunch, they can be really difficult to count

Well, turns out he wasn't that mad, and I can't really fit anymore in my yard. But now, my mom might want to get me a dove.

Don't know if that's happening though.

I don't know if I am though. I really want a Diamond or two, but I doubt my dad will allow it. My mom might, but not my dad.

You can have one of mine. The baby I have is amost full-grown, and she's getting flying lessons. Mum and Dad are currently hatching 2 more. I hope the new one is male, so that my injured dove Aphrodite will have a mate.

I can't now anyways. We have to get the flock established first. Again, my dad doesn't want one. :/ But maybe after he gets used to the chickens, I will.
