The chick is newly hatched about 30 minutes ago. It's bleeding from its 'umbilical' cord. What can I do?

Is it actually bleeding or is it still absorbing the yolk with rest of umbilical chord showing?
This can happen to early hatchers.
Just leave it alone and it should be absorbed within a few more hours.

It's probably the cord. This bird is quite rowdy. This is my first hatching. Third chick. I saw blood all over and panicked.
The temperature of your incubator might be a bit too high which often causes chicks to hatch too soon without having completely absorbed.

If the others start to peck at it, remove them from the incubator but leave the "bloody" one until absorbing is finished.

They are not messing with it. And I can see it's drying up. I've got one that's pipped and slightly zipped. Don't want to disturb. The temp might have been a bit high.
