I am all smiles. I always think I will plan this out, and yeah, no, I don't. Just grabbed some eggs, marked them with an x and put them under her.

Yes, Mrs. K, you are absolutely right. Sometimes, you do not plan it, but you just go ahead with it.

Planned: We incubated chicken eggs and the chicks are now three weeks old. Also, I had bought some bantams and silkies from Tractor Supply which are close in age to our incubated chicks.
UNplanned: Two weeks ago, we had a duck go broody. She has five fertile eggs under her. Hatch date is May 23rd.
Thinking where will we put these ducklings because both brooders are full of chicks.
