Got a few new babies

Too late. needed the pics before. Need to see the whole top and whole side. The last one will be a solid color.

To have a sky blue, the top of the head needs to be solid colored, no lines at all.

This is the little light colored one - the red light picture probably doesn’t help. But nobody has any stripes. Last two pics are day of hatch.

Sorry I should say - I only have three so the one that you said “last one will be a solid color” is the same one who I think is a blue - or hoping to be a blue.

Hmmmm it definitely favors the violet more than the sky blue.

I can’t wait to see what colors they are! All I have currently are pearl, pied and lavender so I’m hoping for new colors!

Oh maybe these are what I’ve referred to as lavenders - I guess the same so that won’t be a new color for my flock. Will be interesting to see!

Lavender is blue with full dotting . So keets have a striped head/back and adults have white dots on each feather. I’m attaching pics of lavender keets (two of which were pied in the trio pic) and another keet where you can see head stripes better. Also a lavender pied juvenile, and lavender adults. The pics I posted above were mostly of two Violet birds that I had, but one girl is posing with her slate sister. Neither Violet nor Slate have any dotting.

I’m excited!! I have another 15 on incubator right now!! So even more colors maybe!
