Got a few new babies

Ordered some hatching eggs - of 12, 3 survived. They just came home to the brooder today. So stinking cute! It’s been awhile since I had babies! I have 15 more eggs on the way and another dozen I pulled from my girls nest to incubate. Excited to have new colors!

Adorable. Absolutely Adorable. I'm sorry that only 25% survived, but I want to know how the second and third hatches work out! Good luck to you!

So the first bunch of eggs (8) from My own guineas that I gave to a friend, 6 hatched and lived. Much better odds from my own eggs!!
Then I ordered these and yes, 25% hatch rate.
I gave my SIL another dozen of my eggs last night to incubate for either me, my friend or her friend. And then I have another 15 on the way

I haven’t added babies in SO long but I need a new bloodline in here so I figured I’d add them! I’m so excited to add a new line and some new colors.

Awwwwww! Every so often I get that urge to get more babies (because raising baby chickens = life), but then I have to remind myself I am at my limit and can’t get any more .

I’m about at my limit as well, especially for chickens!! Maybe I should just build a new coop

I fully support the building of more coops! In other news, I went into Tractor Supply today for feed and they had BABIES!!! Why, Tractor Supply, WHY?!?! I thought it was safe to go to the feed store in pre-autumn!

I’m so glad our feed stores only have one month of babies - not that it stopped my SIL and I from getting eggs but yes maybe I should start looking for a new coop location

They’re getting their gangly wings!! I’m hoping for a blue? Maybe a sky blue for the super light one. I don’t know about the other two. @R2elk whatcha think?

Too late. needed the pics before. Need to see the whole top and whole side. The last one will be a solid color.

To have a sky blue, the top of the head needs to be solid colored, no lines at all.
