Actually, I thought the whole thing had gone bust. But when I went in the shop tonight I heard cheepin from the 'bator.

Lo and behold, pips were a breakin' out. It was then I realized I was a week off on my times - how did I space that one out?!

I had just been keeping the humidity good and the temp stable and everything generally hunky-dory in the bator. However, it seems I had jumped ahead in my own fervid little mind and so thought the hatch was a week late, a dud.

Actually, I was right on time. See what going on vacation will do to you?!
Well, that and not writing anything down when the eggs were set.... [IMG]

Ive hatched so much over the last few years that I got slack and didnt keep any written record of this hatch. Next time I won't be so cavalier about it all.

When I inspected them at mid hatch, they all looked viable, so we'll see what we get tomorrow.

I wish I could be a week ahead. I am only on Day 5 and I don't know if I am going to make it! Each day feels like a week [IMG]
