You gotta check out ruths purple eggs. Do a search for this topic purpleeggs??? Go to post #18 She has some beautiful colored eggs Of course the plum colored further down are just georgous as well but fthey are from Australia lol

You might consider getting a few Hubbard Golden Comets from Mt. Healthy. Their line lays a very dark brown egg- as dark as some Marans I've seen. ....and they are laying machines.

Also, you might want to consider Campines for white eggs. I love mine and they are not near as flighty as most white egg-layers.

Here's a pic of a few of my eggs I collected awhile back. Large white one is from a Golden Campine. Comet eggs are the two brown at top. One is showing a white spot where I wiped the brown off while cleaning it. These were the first two Comet pullet eggs, so they are much larger now (Xl-Jumbo). Light brown at the bottom are LF Cochin.
