can a hen lay two eggs in less than 16 hours?

I have five chickens only on has been laying, and she just started about 3 days ago. the other chickens are less than four months old......so i got two different eggs in the last 16 hours......what the heck is going on?

maybe the one i thought was a rooster is not a rooster? but it has spurs a huge comb that is red etc etc etc...

I had it happen once. The chicken had an infection of the oviduct.
