Got a steamer today

Had to go to the big city today with a friend and we did some shopping at the Goodwill store, I found a steamer to steam my eggs with. Folks it was just 3.00 and works great, I have already steamed 12 eggs.

Course I had to do chicken eggs since my muscovy hens aren't laying now. But thats okay I'll be ready come spring

Don't cha just love a bargain!!! My girls have kinda stopped laying right now. Figures since someone called and wanted three dozen duck eggs

I got 13 ducks eggs today, I have 15 girls ... I have 24 dozen in the fridge.

And now my new girls that are not laying yet.

I only have two that were laying and now they have stopped. It gets dark so dang early here now and we had two feet of snow about 8 days ago and then warm and in the 60's today. The animals are all confused Come to think of it, I think I am confused too

Stupid question, what does the steamer look like? I have seen rice steamers.....but is this specifically for eggs or a general purpose steamer. I just boiled duck eggs and they tasted fine. Not even tough. I was surprised.
