Hello, welcome to BYC! I'd wait till they are at least 8 to 10 weeks to worry about gender. Who knows, maybe you'll be able to keep more than one male. They sometimes get along.

yea, i got too cocky because, well it's been another week and, indeed, i have 2 roos in the mix. i think the method would've been more accurate if i had paid attention to how old they were and remembered about the tail feathers when i was picking them out. because in hindsight, their feathers were true to their sex from what i read/saw online.I don't really believe the whole thing where you can tell by how long the wing feathers are because someone who says they sex chicks by the wing feathers said that one of our chicks was a boy. Though she was out of the pullet bin. I don't have any confidence in that method. Vent sexing is way more accurate.Though I'm not an expert, your chicks all look the way ours look that we got from the pullet bin. I don't see anything about any of yours that says cockerel. If your chick is a boy then I guess all of ours are boys because they all look the same wayI hope this helps.
from what i could find online i have two bantam easter eggers . one hen , one roo . the other two (black/white and brown/red feathered legs) i'm assuming are either cochin or brahmas . i have one cochin already and the feathers on his legs don't look like theirs so i'm thinking brahma ???hello ,
here is an update !
turns out i did not get a single rooster . nope . in fact i got THREE![]()
