You have saved my 3 1/2 year old from a lifetime of horrible haircuts. (I may never rise above "average" no matter what kind of help, but I am sure that when he gets old enough to care, he will be awful glad that ol' mom joined BYC and saw this topic
I have to post on this even though Austin would die a thousand deaths if he knew I was doing this. I got the bright idea that I could clip his hair and went and bought some clippers. I'm thinking how hard can this be???? I did okay with the base and around the ears but man did I blow it on top. He has two SEVERE cowlicks on the back of his head and he looked BAD when I was done. We threw a hat on and headed for the barber. He helped it alittle, but honestly not much. Fortunately, he was a pretty good sport about it, but he DID make me PROMISE never to cut his hair again.

My son has TWO crowns - so it makes cutting a little tricky - I have to leave the top a little longer, the weight then lets the hair lay flat...... its tricky!
