Meet Roxy. Another petite. At 8 months, she weighs 28 pounds. based on what I see, she is all Catahoula. Everything you said about your dog applies to her as well. She's also super loyal, and super defensive of me. Within less than 24 hours of rescuing her (at 12 weeks old) she attacked a 100 pound dog because it got close to me. 12 weeks old, hackles, teeth, charging the other dog without fear. It was impressive. She's done that twice since but seems a bit more restrained because I tell her it's "Ok".

She is beautiful and I can't believe she ended up in a kill facility. Here are pics:
