Got first egg

The chickens keep moving the fake eggs. One of the fake eggs keeps getting moved fromnuostsirs coop to lower coop run.

BTW no more eggs for now, only the one.

This is pretty normal behavior...... and anither issue that can be addressed by installing a good lip on the front of your boxes

Will we got our second egg. It was not warm like the last one. Must have been layed earlier morning.

Smaller egg like last one. Do they get bigger?

Surprised with 28 degree weather they even lasted an egg

Yes, the eggs will increase in size and regularity of arrival in the coming weeks and months

In regards to lip I have a 1-1/2 inch lip so guess need to make it higher.

We are now averaging one egg a day out of three chickens.
