got lucky today

I’m lucky that I still have a chicken coop and outdoor run.
This guy came through about 7AM this morning.
He was mostly interested in tearing down my bird feeders and eating sunflower seeds.
Chicken was not on the menu today.

And I thought I had predators! My daughter lives in Cloquet and I know just north of her on the iron range, your scenario would probably be pretty common. I sure wish continued luck with it!

I have to say, I love this photo! It looks like the bear and chicken are having a conversation. (Yeah, I know - it's easy to say "I love this photo" when it's not my chickens that bear is chatting with.)
