got madd at the turkeys

well after 2yrs of the turkeys making 1 heck of a mess.i finally got madd an penned them up for good.theres nothing like having to clean up turkey mess all the time.an their mess is just like tar.an its the devil to clean up.they wont be getting out no more.

Oh no... are they messier than chickens?!?! I have three on the way!

oh yes they poop 4x as much as the chickens do.an their poop is real oily an slimy.an its hard to clean up.mine was free range.an thats how they made such a mess.if you leave them penned in your hen yard everything is ok.just dont let them run out where your driveway or sidewalk is.

I have lots and lots of turkeys and do not find them to be terrible mess makers.
Silkie you enjoy your turkeys. We enjoy our very much.
Now runner ducks on the other hand.....well thats another story.
Everyone loves a turkey!!!!
