Got my chicks today !!!!! PICS

This morning I got the call from my post office ... CHICKS ARE HERE !!!!! I ordered them from Cackle, 5 BR, 5 BA and 5 EE's, all arrived happy and healthy and were eating within a minute. Actually they are like little pigs, have to refill there food here pretty soon

They are so funny to watch I could stand there all day and just look at them. It just cracks me up when they fall asleep while standing and then just fall over to one side. The first time I saw that it gave me a little shock and I thought one died ....... first time chicken mom, no clue they are doing stuff like that

Here are some pics, (I hope it will work)

The first chick is one of my Barred Rock (they threw in an extra so I ended up with 6). The second is one of my Australorps and the last three pictures are my Easter Eggers, one is smokey yellow, two are kinda smokey/grey with brown on there head and two are "chipmunks".

I ordered from Cackle Hatchery here in Missouri. I called them 5 weeks ago but the earliest they could ship was yesterday because they were out of easter eggers ....

they are sooo darling. I will be getting my trio of 3 on Monday April 19th !! I can't wait..... This is a first for me too. I wanted backyard chickens for so long. Congrats to you, enjoy ! thanks for the pictures
