Got my Chicks!!

I went and picked up my baby chicks today!!! What a great Valentines present

I got 6 Silkies..

I was so excited picking them out that I didnt check their butts!! dumb newbie move i know, one of the black silkies had its tush all plugged up with poo and one of the black splash had a little but not near as bad as the little black silkie it isnt in the pic above it was warming up right under the light after his butt bath, he ws so pitiful crying and then a big poo came out, it got so cold it was shivering with its wet tush it looks better now dry and sleeping I keep going in there like every 5 mins to see if its still breathing, its smaller than the other chicks too. Is there anything else I can do to help? and what colors do you think they will be when they are adults? the man said he had never seen colors like this before and didnt know what they would look like..

One thing I would do tho is move them off the shredded paper and put them on plain paper towel so they are able to stand upright without sinking into the paper. Could develop spraddle legs otherwise. Ink is not good for them either. They all look SO cute!

After two days on paper towel I would move them onto pine shavings (cleaner that way too

)
