Got my coop framed out, whew! **UPDATED 6/14- MOVING DAY TOMORROW! **

Almost done with the siding. I got the rear window finished, only a few battens to put on, drip rails over the windows done, the chicken door is all framed out and I framed out the vents over the people door opening and the chicken door side. I HOPE to put a roof on tomorrow, if it doesn't rain.

Had some much needed help today!

Rear window. I am going to rig up a rope/pulley system to raise it to any position.

That is beautiful. This is an awesome design. It reminds me of that little coop that claims it will hold 15 chickens but wont. Is that the basis of your design? (sorry I can't remember what site had that coop, so I can't provide a link or pic)

MsMarbles&Me :

Wow, you're barred rock is big! The coop looks fantastic! I love the color. What did you use? Is it a semi-transparent or opaque?

Hey Kristen, I used semi-transparent stain in pewter. Yep, "Henrietta" is getting LARGE. She is the mother hen, and very friendly.

Latest pictres from today. I really wanted to put the metal roof on, but at least I got the purlins all framed out. I got some drip rails up too. We finished a few last battens, and caulked a little here and there.
