Got my first Button egg!

Well after waiting 13 weeks

I finally got my first egg! I was sooo excited, its such a cute little egg!

Here it is next to a regular sized chicken egg:

I have a wild type male in with a cinnamon blue face and silver female.

Now because I get attacked because they aren't in pairs let me say that I don't have another male and they don't fight at all. They are such good friends

That is not a silver, it is a silver blue face. Some people call them 'slate' or smoky', I can't remember which right off. Buttons can start laying around 8 weeks old but I've had some that waited until 10-12 weeks old.

sorry to butt in but what age are buttons normally sold?im wondering becuase theres a pet swap may 21st i just set my eggs sat 27 should hatch aorund april 11th they would be little over a month old would it be too early to sell them at that age?

You can sell them whenever you want, they can be sexed by 5 weeks old.
