So we are still in the process of moving and have the chicken coop about half finished. It should be done tomorrow. But my daughter and her husband jumped the gun on getting me a chicken for my birthday.
As I pulled into the drive way wending my way among the trees, I saw bright colors flashing through where there should have only been blue sky. When I rounded the last bend in the driveway I saw it I laughed and cried at the same time, it was so perfect. Last weekend I had showed them a house with lots of yard art that was very whimsical. I told them that I wanted my place to be fun like that. So when they saw this chicken they thought it would get me off to a great start. So do I. What they didnt know when they got it was that it was on my list of things to get for the yard, once we settled in.
