Got my first chicks today!

Hello!

First time chicken keeper here. Picked up four one day old Buff Orpington pullets and four straight run Black Australorps today. I have a feeling I'm about to become a morning person!
They were a little cold from the 20 minute trip home, but after they warmed up, they were running around eating and drinking and pecking. They've been mostly sleeping the last several hours now.
Hopefully I'll be getting some Barred Rocks and RI Reds soon.
Time to start building the coop!
