one of my birds laid her first egg ,what is the best way to clean/store egg ?

Hi,

Personally i don't clean my eggs but if your eggs are a bit mucky, then use a dry cloth to wipe them. The eggs have an antibacterial protective coating when they are laid, so its best not to wash them with a liquid.

You can always eat it. Do you want to save them up and try to incubate them? Eggs have to be fertile for that - so you must have a rooster with the hens.
