Got my first egg, unsure when...?

I would definately NOT feed it back to the chickens. You never want your chickens to think eggs are their food. Could start egg eating.
Also dont feed it to your dog raw, same reason. If your dog realizes that eggs are food he might start sneeking into the coop and eating them. If you scramble it for him first it is still very healthy for him. Congratulations on your new layers!

I scramble the eggs first before giving to the chickens and dogs. The egg shells are placed in an empty bread bag and then stepped on until finely crushed before giving to the chickens. Wild birds have been observed eating the hatched shells of their brood so I figured it can't be all that bad.
