Got my first eggs!

They have been laying for 6 days now I'm up to 17 eggs I used a few today for scrambled eggs and man they were delicious. The big one was twins and both yolks were fertilized the fairy eggs I had were almost all yolk. I'm gonna let them lay for a month or so and let the roo get around then I can start hatching some. I still haven't caught which ones or laying so I have to get a camera so I know what I'm hatching first.

Congratulations! First eggs are such a thrill.
I get excited even when they are starting up after winter break. But I remember when I first got chickens, the first ever egg felt like magic.
I just stared at it. And it was perfect!

yay! Happy for you, its always fun when you get the first eggs. I've been getting eggs since November. Its still fun to see how many I'm going to have waiting for me when I go out to collect them.

The 12 hens are in full production now yesterday I got 9 eggs in the morning and another 9 when I checked on them at night.
