Got my first ever green egg!

20 weeks? Did I count that right? I have 3 that are 14 weeks, I wasn't expecting any eggs for a couple months...maybe I can look sooner? How exciting for you!

Umm, yeah. Easter Eggers, though they do vary, normally lay at the same average point most other production layers begin.

Congrats on your egg though!!

Congrats to you!

My three EEs were also hatched on April 9th.

I got my first egg at 19 weeks and the other 2 both laid their first eggs on September 17th (23 weeks). Our eggs are olive/green with a gray bloom.

Raising chickens is so darn fun!

What do your EE's look like? Are EE's a certain breed?

I have a lavender orphington and a mille fleur cross breed, does that mean I could get a colored egg? Green would be so cool:weee
