Got my first turkey egg today! What do they taste like?

I'm waiting for DH to come home before we try it. Anyone know? Tastes like "chicken"?

We have eaten our turkeys eggs when they first start laying. Primarily when we are checking for fertility and of course you can't put the egg back in the shell so rather than waste them. lol
I find the taste much milder than Chicken eggs with a lighter texture. Personally I prefer Duck but my DW says she prefers the Turkey.

I agree with David. The yoke is alittle thicker (or would richer be the word?) We prefer them to chicken eggs.

O man they make great huge deviled eggs, however there shells can be tuff to break open when trying to do a big dipper..
