Hubby literally ordered me to order an incubator so he can try hatching some quail eggs.

Well I got a Hoverbator Genesis 1588 with an automatic turner. We have a rooster now with our 20 hens, so hubby better watch out 'cause I think having an incubator and some fertile eggs can only lead to one thing........

I know what it will lead to. I received a new genesis 1588 a few days before you and guess what ? As of last night it is purring right along with 40 various eggs in the turner. Looking for a hatch date of April 21st. Wish me luck since it will be my first time to incubate eggs. Good luck with yours.

!! It's my 2nd one. I bought one last year but didn't have a chance to use it yet. I will be firing both of them up because I have ordered quite a few eggs

Good Luck to all of you with your eggs. I have to let DH hatch his quail first, so I will have some summer hatches I guess. It's probably better since I won't have enough room for chicks and quail.

Congratulations, and welcome to the addiction!

I haven't hatched much in mine (I've been trying to hatch difficult things, like seramas and call ducks, and have had some bad luck), but even considering that I've hardly had the incubator off since I bought it three months ago. And now it's full!

Have fun hatching, and of course share the fuzzy butts with us when you have some!
