Good morning!

My chicks are now 7 weeks old, and I have a strong feeling I have four cockerels and one pullet. Main reason being there combs, second feathers, third lots of fighting!

I also wondered, at what age can chicks be rehomed? as the suspected cockerels are causing some grief in the coop!

theyre all pekin bantams:

1st is a pullet, rest are roos.
I bought my pullets at 6 weeks old. Most "backyard" people like myself want them old enough to not need a heat source and able to live outside.

You can re-home them anytime though, they just might be a little lonely till they're old enough to mingle with their new owners girls if they go one at a time.

Yeah, even the first one looks to be a bit too red in the comb and waddles to me... but I have heard that maybe bantams color up faster, so I am hoping it's a girl.

The rest sure look roo ish to me!
