Thanks, The pullet is only about 18 to 19 weeks old. I must have missed the "fart" egg as it's a good size to me for a first egg.
 
Ooooh, congratulations-there's nothing like finding that first egg!

enjoy the double yolkers while you can. mine used to lay them all the time when they were new to laying. Now it is extremely rare.

Help!

My plymouth rock laid her first egg on Monday morning (very exciting!) and has not laid since and it is now Friday. She is behaving normally, eating etc. Should I be concerned?
