Got our first eggs... But who paid them?

We have black copper marans and some feed and seed store mix little yellow chick chickens they said they were a mix between Rhode Island reds and leghorns I believe.

I can't answer your question but it was funny to me! I often say my chickens need to start paying their rent so I thought nothing of you asking who paid with that egg! My chickens will hopefully soon be paying their rent in eggs! So you made no mistake as far as I'm concerned!
