What absolutely impels me to fold and put away laundry is wanting to go to bed, and there in the middle of the bed is a pile of clean laundry.

Yes, lazy person that I am, I dump the laundry on the bed, and most times walk away to do something else.

If it was hung on the line, however, it's mostly sort of folded, a little bit. If it came out of the dryer, it's a tangled, jumbled, mixed up mess.

Me too! I dislike the feel of freshly dried laundry, so I push it off as long as possible.

Interesting! I prefer how soft fabric feels after it's been tumbled in the dryer, but I love-love-love! the smell of clothes dried on the line, so the stiffness is the price I pay for the heavenly smell.
