Got our first eggs!!

Well, after 5 months of watching our chicks grow into quite large chickens we finally got our first eggs.....YEAH!! We have no idea which of the seven laid them, nevertheless, we are just excited to finally see the fruits of our labor.

Congrats! Always so exciting to get those eggs.

There are only 2 eggs I can tell apart from all others.

My one (broken toe)lays eggs with a bumpy or sandy coating.Those often go to the dogs since I have even found sand in the egg! I also now get an egg that has some serious blue color on one end.Almost like it was spray painted. I have the layer narrowed down to 3 hens. I will find out who paints their eggs!
