My bedroom down by the Cape was a DEEP Cranberry color... very pretty and I had white beachy accents. But again, couldn't do something that dark here. Small house and small windows, so bad combo for dark colors. That's okay, it's a nice change doing light colors. My kitchen is a pale yellow, my dining room is a medium sage green; they were already those colors but I like them. It's the two bedrooms that are hideous. The first one, my office is bright baby girl pink, and the bedroom is/was that awful purple. It's like two kids had those rooms or something, I don't know. My office will be a you-know-what to repaint, because it's lined with huge bookshelves that go to the ceiling, so I'll have to bribe some men to move them, they weigh a ton.
The new bedroom I'm doing in a pale greenish-teal, and I'll have deep brown furniture and white accents.
